BASE BUILDER GUIDE
From blank board
to your next base.
Use RampartIQ to plan a Clash of Clans layout, compare ideas and keep your changes. Here is how to get started.
1. Choose your Town Hall.
Open the base builder, choose your Town Hall and the purpose of your base, and give it a name you will recognize. Your Town Hall determines the available buildings and wall limits.
Start with a blank layout to place pieces yourself, or use the generator for a starting arrangement. Generation is a planning aid, not a battle simulation or a guarantee against three-star attacks.
2. Place buildings and connect walls.
Choose a building from the palette, then place it on the board. Select a placed building to inspect or move it. Use Walls to draw wall lines and Erase to remove pieces. Undo restores the previous edit if you make a mistake.
Use the board view controls to switch between the diamond-shaped game view and the square plan view. Both show the same layout; switching views does not move your buildings. Hide side panels when you need more space on an iPad or phone.
3. Review the layout before you keep it.
Check building levels, available counts, overlaps and wall connections. Generated levels are planning assumptions, not a reading of your game account. Look for unintended gaps and consider how your defenses protect one another.
Placement checks do not prove defensive strength. Actual results depend on troops, spells, building levels and the attacker’s choices. Test a base in gameplay before treating a design as effective; RampartIQ does not currently provide gameplay-validated predictions.
4. Save versions you can return to.
Sign in to save layouts to your account. Use Save in the editor after changes you want to keep. Your saved bases appear in My layouts. Keep earlier versions so you can compare arrangements without losing your previous design.
